Owners
Established in 2015, Paws & Claws Aquamation and Memorials is owned and operated by Brian and Deanna Kondrath.
Brian has been in the funeral industry for over 25 years. He has a degree in Mortuary Science and is licensed by the state of California as a crematory manager, embalmer and funeral director.
Deanna has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and has worked in the funeral industry for 10 years.
Paws & Claws Aquamation and Memorials is proud to be the first aquamation facility in all of Orange County. We would like to share our credentials so that you will feel completely comfortable with our handling of your pet during this challenging time.
We gladly welcome any questions.
Some people view pet after care as an extension of veterinary services. But with our decades of experience in the funeral industry, we view pet aftercare as a funeral service.

We are thankful for Deanna, Brian, and John for their service. They are very caring and understands how heart breaking it can be to lose our cat. My husband and... Read More I were making arrangements in advance knowing our cat was reaching her end days. They are really flexible with their time, but ask that you call in advance so that they can make proper arrangements and to allow for privacy during your visit. We are thankful to come across Paws and Claws knowing our cat was left in good hands.

I was looking for something extremely basic to have my cat cremated ,and not only seemed the most reasonable on price, was very accommodating, easy to work with, and even... Read More stayed way after hours for me to get there late on Saturday.
I can't speak for all the special services he offers, but can't imagine anyone not being treated with total fairness and with the utmost respect for whatever your pet cremation requirements are that they offer.
I know our beloved cat, Buddy, will be in good hands for his final journey, so again, thank you so much Brian!

My boyfriend's dog of 12 years, Gunner, recently passed and while reading about pet cremation, he discovered aquamation and found Paws and Claws. The owner, Brian, is extremely knowledgeable and... Read More compassionate about what he does. The day we dropped Gunner off, he showed us a video of the aquamation process, showed us the different urns, told us about add ons, including the ink paw print, clay paw print, and bottle of fur, answered all of our questions, and even shared some of his personal stories. He truly made us feel at ease during this difficult time. The process took about a week and when we went back, everything was carefully and thoughtfully placed in a beautiful gift bag which included the urn, the ink paw print in a frame, the clay paw print in a bag, the fur in a small glass bottle, a plantable flower bomb, and a sweet condolence card from the owners. We would recommend this place to anyone who has lost their fur baby and wants to keep a part of them forever. Thank you Brian for your kindness and compassion!

My sister found this place for my dog, Lucky, and I'm so thankful it was here. I met the older gentleman who prepared everything for the first time when it... Read More was ready to be picked up and even though we just met then, I could tell he was kind and genuinely put care into everything for my little chihuahua. Not only him but the woman on the counter was compassionate and friendly to me as well (I wished I knew their names). From the sweet card given, to how beautifully packaged it was, to the amount of pet hair kept as memory, everything was done above and beyond. Thank you so much Paws and Claws. You gave me a peace of mind knowing that my precious dog was in good hands until the very end. I wouldn't have wanted any other place as my first dog cremation experience. Highly recommend.

I can not recommend this business enough. Brian and his wife are so nice and genuine. They are in this for the pets and not the money. I found them... Read More hours before losing my best friend Edith May and im so grateful. The compassion they gave me from the first phone call to the moment I picked my baby up was incredible. They are affordable and everything is done on site. I felt good leaving my pup in their hands and knew she would be cared for properly. I can not praise them enough. I hope to not use them for many years but when the time comes I will be back. Everything about Paws and claws is welcoming and comforting in this hard time.

Brian and Deanna are who you want to go to during this immensely difficult time. Their compassion and genuineness shine through as they take you step by step through the... Read More process and provide you options to memorialize your animal companion. I'm so thankful I found them. I cannot find words to express the attention to detail they provide in receiving you and yours to pick up of your baby when it's time to return home. You won't worry at all about how your baby is being taken care of, their business is a gem.
